About CHA
Resuscitation education, refined.
The Canadian Heart Association is a Canadian not-for-profit organization dedicated to delivering resuscitation education programs for healthcare and dental professionals. Our goal is straightforward: help every Canadian clinician acquire the knowledge and master the skills needed to save more lives, every day.
Trusted education
CHA is your trusted source for resuscitation education programs — built by Canadian healthcare professionals, for Canadian healthcare professionals.
No mandatory pre-requisites
Other agencies pile on online tests and required pre-courses. We don’t. You decide how you learn.
Not-for-profit
100% of CHA’s profits go back into supporting our mission — better resuscitation education for the people who deliver care.
We're not the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
CHA is different. We're new, we're focused, and we don't want to be associated with the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Our work is one thing: delivering resuscitation education that actually reflects how care is delivered at the bedside.
That's also why we killed the Megacode. For more than two decades, the Megacode was the centrepiece of ACLS — and it never really matched the reality of resuscitation. We replaced it with something better, and we're not looking back.
You control your educational experience.
Other training agencies keep telling you that you need this pre-requisite, or you need to take this online test before showing up. We say no. CHA programs respect your time, your expertise, and your judgment about how you learn best.
